Currently a Partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP since August 2019, Michael has a robust background that includes previous roles as a Partner at Arent Fox and Akerman LLP, where focus areas included the formation and issuance of securities and international and U.S. practices. Michael's extensive expertise in legal finance is underscored by a tenure as General Counsel at EMP Global LLC, where oversight included legal and regulatory matters for a firm managing over US$8 billion in capital. Earlier positions involved leading international legal affairs for the Sural Group and academic contributions as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University.
