Nathalie Klasens, CCSA, is a seasoned professional in crime scene investigation with extensive experience in law enforcement. Currently serving as a Crime Scene Investigator II at the Parker Police Department since August 2020, Nathalie independently processes crime scenes and responds to critical incident team call-outs. Previously, Nathalie worked at the Cherry Hills Village Police Department from May 2011 to August 2020, holding roles as a Police Technician and Public Information Officer, focusing on evidence collection and custodian duties, as well as serving as a temporary Police Clerk. The Town pays for the police academy for sponsored recruits and earns a salary of $52,000 while in the academy. Additionally, patrol officers work four 10-hour shifts and are offered a defined pension plan through the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado (FPPA). The Parker Police Department is a mid-size agency (77 sworn officers) with an impressive list of special assignments available for officers.
