You will design, develop and execute a set of innovative, often inter-related, sleep physiology, fatigue management, mental health, hypertension, diabetes, and more research projects.
You will consult with physiological, psychological, nutritional and medical specialists outside of Parker Health to develop innovative techniques for conducting empirical research.
You will define operational problems addressable through research; review methodological procedures used in ongoing studies to ensure sound scientific approaches, evaluate potential solutions and identify practical application for research results.
You will guide and assist in the developing new areas of research, forging relationships with potential new sponsors, companies, and planning for future research programs.
You will collaborate with diverse scientific personnel departments to bring multi-disciplinary approach to propose solutions to operational problems involving diverse population performance, resilience and rehabilitation specific to machine learning and artificial intelligence.
You will develop correlative machine learning and artificial intelligence functions directly in Parker Suite & Vinny A.I.
You will communicate research results to operational, scientific, and medical audiences and assist transitioning outcomes, (e.g., performance metrics, treatment protocols), to operational or clinical use.
Requirements
Masters or PhD in integrative physiology preferred with an emphasis on circadian physiology and Cardiac electrophysiology
At least two years of experience in a clinical or military research setting
Familiarity and previous research experience with Cardiac CATH labs
Familiarity with the Computer-assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN), with the ability to operate basic functions of the CAREN system.
Ability to counsel and educate others.
Ability to effectively communicate with public speaking skills.
Preparing and presenting information both orally and in writing.
Making presentations at local, state, and national meetings.
