James Beck

Chief Scientific Officer at Parkinson's Foundation

James Beck's work experience includes serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at the Parkinson's Foundation since April 2017. Prior to this position, they worked as the Vice President of Scientific Affairs at the Parkinson's Foundation from 2008 to August 2022. James also worked as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Long Island University from 2006 to 2008 and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at New York University School of Medicine from 2000 to 2006.

James Beck received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Duke University in 1992. James then went on to pursue further education and earned their PhD in Zoology and Neuroscience from the University of Washington from 1994 to 2000.
