Dr. DeLancey Johnson has a diverse work experience. Since 2021, they have been serving as the SVP, Associate Chief Talent Officer at Parkland Hospital, where they are responsible for developing and executing the Talent Management life cycle. In 2020, they founded HR CHAMPIONS, LLC, where they hold the position of President and Founder. Additionally, they serve as an At-Large Board Member for the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) starting in 2023. Dr. Johnson is also a member of the Talent Attraction Council (TAC) at the Dallas Regional Chamber since 2022. Furthermore, they are a member of the Article of the Year Committee for the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds the position of Vice President of the North Texas Advisory Board at the Texas Diversity Council, both starting in 2023 and 2022 respectively.
Dr. DeLancey Johnson, FACHE, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, sHRBP, SWP, LDSS holds a Doctor of Business degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Northcentral University. Dr. DeLancey also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from Edward Waters University. Dr. Johnson has a range of certifications, including Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) from the American College of Healthcare Executives, SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and Leadership Development & Succession Strategist (LDSS) from Human Capital Institute (HCI), among others.
