Eugene Chu possesses extensive experience in hospital medicine, currently serving as the Chief of the Division of Hospital Medicine at Parkland Hospital and as an Associate Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center since September 2017. Prior roles include Medical Director and Board Member at Saint Benedict Health and Healing Ministry, Director of Hospital Medicine at Boulder Community Health, and mentorship positions with national collaboratives at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Eugene founded FirstPerson Healthcare, LLC, and has held academic positions such as Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center.
