Melanie Benitez Roberts

Melanie Benitez Roberts has a strong background in compliance and ethics in the healthcare industry. Melanie most recently served as the SVP & Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer at Parkland Hospital from April 2020 to the present. Prior to that, they held the role of Sr. Director - Compliance at Tenet Healthcare from July 2004 to March 2020.

Melanie Benitez Roberts obtained an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Governance from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas in 2021-2022. Melanie completed their Master's Degree at Tulane University in 1994-1995 and also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Loyola University New Orleans, which they received in 1990-1994. Additionally, Melanie has certifications in healthcare compliance, healthcare privacy compliance, and healthcare research compliance.
