Daniel Shimanovich has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2014. Daniel started as an Aerospace Engineering Intern and Systems Integration Engineer Intern at the Alfred Gessow Rotorcraft Center, where they conducted research to design a control system using Robot Operating System (ROS) and Raspberry Pi (RPi), and wrote embedded scripts to control servos and motors over Bluetooth. In 2015, they moved to Automated Precision Inc. as a Product Manager and Application Engineer, managing the development and maintenance of multiple product lines and working with clients to understand the market needs, practices, and deficiencies to design optimized products. In 2018, they joined NovaTech Process Solutions LLC as a Software Test Engineer, designing testing procedures for new version releases, as well as patch releases, and testing Process Automation software in compliance with customer requirements. In 2019, they moved to Grier Forensics as a Product Manager, developing new products through market research and business planning and coordinating demonstrations for new versions of existing products. Finally, in 2020, they joined Crisis24 as a Product Manager, leading the development of data ingestion product lines to lay the foundation of new software product portfolios to the market. Currently, they are a Technical Product Manager at ParkMyFleet.

Daniel Shimanovich obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland between 2013 and 2015. In 2019, they were certified as a Certified Product Manager (CPM) by the AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management. In 2022, they were certified as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) by the Scrum Alliance. Daniel is also a member of AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management and an Engineer In Training with the Maryland State Board of Professional Engineers.
