Samuel Murray is an experienced professional involved in various roles within sports and coaching. Currently serving as an Athlete for British Rowing since January 2023 and a Leadership Performance Coach at Mears Group PLC, also since July 2023. Samuel holds a non-executive committee position for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Parkour UK. Previously, Samuel worked as a Consultant focusing on Organisation Advisory and Leadership at New Street Consulting Group and as a Leadership Coach at Multiverse. Additional experience includes managerial and executive roles at lululemon and Lane4, as well as ambassadorial work at Investec and athletic representation at British Rowing. Samuel possesses a Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology from the University of East London, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Portsmouth.

Parkour UK
Parkour UK was established in 2009 by the UK Parkour/Freerunning community and the City of Westminster, Parkour UK is the recognised National Governing Body (NGB). Parkour UK as the National Governing Body (NGB) for Parkour/Freerunning, provide governance and regulation of Parkour/Freerunning throughout the UK, act as custodians of the sport/art, protect the rights & freedoms and promote the interests of Traceurs/Freerunners (practitioners), their member organisations & the UK community. We work closely with partners encouraging and developing the safe and appropriate practice of Parkour/Freerunning in addition to working with local groups, organisations, as well as national organisations/bodies, local authorities, constabularies. Our Mission; Parkour UK aims to support and develop Parkour/Freerunning in the UK, and to make the benefits of the sport accessible to any and all who want to learn. Parkour UK will always strive to maintain and improve the spirit of the sport/discipline. Parkour UK’s work is overseen by the Board, which meets at regular intervals. We aim to provide guidance, support and assistance on all levels to all practitioners of the sport/discipline, and to regulate and maintain the standards of the sport in the country. Parkour UK will oversee the development and management of the sport from grassroots to elite.
