Steve Hawley

Steven Hawley is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Contributing Analyst at Parks Associates since 2019, Hawley authored the industry report "Video Piracy: Ecosystem, Risks and Impact," published in May 2023. As the Founder and Managing Director of Piracy Monitor, established in January 2018, Hawley focuses on raising awareness about digital media piracy. Additionally, Hawley has contributed analyst insights to S&P Global Market Intelligence since 2007 and leads tvstrategies, a consultancy founded in 2001, that guides video providers through the TV platform lifecycle. Previous roles include Editor of IPTV News at Junction Group, Director of Product Management and Business Development at Myrio Corp, Sr. Product Manager at Adobe, and Alliance Manager at Nortel. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
