Tessa Bondi currently serves as the Corporate Relations Manager at Metro Parks Tacoma, focusing on securing corporate funding to enhance community impact. Previous roles at Metro Parks include Events and Volunteer Coordinator, where Tessa produced events to promote the Living History experience at Fort Nisqually and managed a team of over 300 volunteers. At REI, Tessa held various positions, including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager, where responsibilities included integrating Inclusive Design principles and driving policy updates across nearly 200 retail locations. As a Project Manager for DEI, Tessa led multiple impactful initiatives and managed external partnerships to diversify audience engagement. Tessa also has a background in outdoor programs, having worked as an Outreach Specialist and National Event Coordinator while advancing education and event programs at the Environmental Education Center. Tessa holds a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Washington Tacoma and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Evolution & Ecology from The Ohio State University.

Created by voters in 1907, Parks Tacoma is an independent agency that provides parks, recreation and zoological services for people in the Tacoma, Browns Point and Dash Point areas. Governed by an elected five-member Board of Park Commissioners, Parks Tacoma maintains and cares for 69 parks and attractions, including Point Defiance Park with its Zoo and Aquarium, Boathouse Marina, and Fort Nisqually; Northwest Trek Wildlife Park near Eatonville; W. W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory; Meadow Park Golf Course; and Ruston Way waterfront parks.
