Melinda Murphy, MS, LPC-S, NCC, ACHE, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Inpatient Adolescent Therapist at Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic since February 2021. In addition to this role, Melinda has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma since December 2017. Previously, Melinda worked as Therapist II at Family & Children's Services from August 2015 to February 2021 and held a school-based therapist position. Early career experiences include working as a Customer Service Representative at Best Buy and as a Counselor In Residence during an internship at Northeastern State University. Melinda’s military service includes an honorable discharge from the US Navy as Division Yeoman (E-3).
