Jamie Engel

Jamie Engel is an accomplished orthopaedic trauma surgeon with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. Currently serving at Parkview Medical Center since September 2020, Jamie Engel previously held positions at Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, where responsibilities included covering trauma calls, performing surgeries on complex fractures, teaching medical residents and students, and conducting research. Prior experience includes roles at Temple Health, VCU Health as an orthopaedic trauma fellow, and faculty at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Jamie Engel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, a Doctor of Medicine from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, and a certificate in Women in Leadership from Cornell University.
