Laura Heron - MCIPD is currently working as a Human Resources Manager at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group in South Manchester, overseeing HR management and ER activities for a company with 560 employees. Prior to this role, Laura worked at John Lewis for over 17 years, where Laura held various HR managerial positions, including leading the operational delivery of personnel policies and procedures. Laura holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel and Development from Manchester Open Learning, a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Science and Drama from Edge Hill University, and achieved 9 GCSEs and 2 A Levels at Kingsway Secondary School.

We manage almost 14,000 properties, providing homes for more than 29,000 people in Wythenshawe, making us the largest housing association in Manchester. Through our More Homes programme we aim to deliver more than 1000 new homes over the next five years with an estimated £195m investment. This will help address the housing shortage and leave a lasting legacy in our communities.
