Dean MacPherson

Dean Macpherson currently serves as the Minister at the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure since July 2024 and has held the position of KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Chairperson for the Democratic Alliance since March 2021. Additionally, Dean is an Advisory Board Member of the South African Chamber of Commerce UK and a Member of Parliament in the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa since May 2014. Prior to these roles, Dean was a local government councillor for the eThekwini Municipality and served as a director at Sheridan Textiles, overseeing the growth of a prominent textile manufacturing company. Dean recently completed a program at The London School of Economics and Political Science in November 2023 and holds a degree from Crawford International.
