Javier Pinillos - Information Security

Javier Pinillos has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Security. Javier is currently serving as the Head of Cybersecurity at Parques Reunidos since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Cybersecurity Professor at IE Law School and Escuela de Organización Industrial from 2017.

From 2017 to 2021, Javier held the role of Monitoring and Security Infrastructure Manager at Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC). Javier also worked as the Head of Practice Cyber-Security at Capgemini from 2016 to 2017.

Javier has a background in education as well. Javier worked as a Professor for the Compliance program at IE Business School from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they served as a Consultant for Governance, Risk and Compliance at Ecix Group from 2014 to 2016.

In previous roles, Javier worked at MPA (Motion Pictures Association of America) as the Director of Content Protection - Operations and Intelligence - Europe, Middle East & Africa from 2012 to 2013. Javier also worked at Warner Bros & Universal as a Content Protection Manager for Spain & LATAM from 2010 to 2011.

Javier's early career includes working as an Internet Coordinator & Investigator at Federación para la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual from 2001 to 2010. Overall, Javier has gained extensive experience in various aspects of Information Security, including cybersecurity, teaching, management, and consultation.

Javier Pinillos has a Bachelor's Degree in Computers (Specialized in Programming and Software) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which they obtained from 1997 to 2004. Javier also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from EAE Business School and Universidad Camilo José Cela, earned from 2011 to 2012.

In terms of certifications, Javier has obtained several, including CDPSE (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer) from ISACA in 2021, Autopsy digital forensics platform from Basis Technology in 2020, CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) from ISACA in 2019, and ITIL v3 Foundations from APMG - International in 2013, among others.
