Gokhan Demirkan

Gokhan Demirkan has held a variety of roles in the biosciences field since 2001. Gokhan began their career as a Summer Intern at Stockholm University in 2001. Gokhan then worked as a Research Assistant at Dyax in 2003, followed by a Research Assistant position at Harvard Medical School in 2004. In 2005, they became a Doctoral Research Scientist at Brown University. In 2010, they moved to Rhode Island Hospital as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow. In 2012, Gokhan began working at Arizona State University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Personalized Diagnostics - Biodesign Institute. Gokhan then joined NanoString Technologies, Inc. in 2015, initially as a Product Development Scientist I, followed by Product Development Scientist II, Senior Product Application and Enablement Scientist, and Product Manager, Spatial Biology. Most recently, Gokhan has been a Product Marketing Manager at Parse Biosciences since 2023.

Gokhan Demirkan received their B.Sc. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2004. Gokhan then went on to pursue a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry (MCB) at Brown University, which they completed in 2010.
