Nam Tran has over 16 years of work experience in operations and supply chain management.
From 2006 to 2016, they worked at Cortech Engineering, where they built and led a multi-department team and improved operational efficiency through process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
From 2016 to 2017, Nam was the Supply Chain Director at AGC Biologics. In this role, they optimized the supply chain and generated millions of dollars in additional production capacity.
From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Director of Supply Chain Management at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. Nam oversaw all aspects of the supply chain, built a scalable department, and managed supplier relationships for FDA-approved products.
Currently, Nam is the Vice President of Operations at Parse Biosciences. Nam is responsible for strategic planning and day-to-day execution of operational activities, including the implementation of an ERP system and the creation of staffing and product supply roadmaps.
Nam Tran has a Bachelor's degree in History from UC Irvine. Additionally, they have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from California State University, Fullerton, with additional coursework in Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS). Nam also holds a Genetics and Genomics Certificate from Stanford University, a Certificate in Six Sigma Black Belt from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, and a Certificate in Project Management from Caltech. They have obtained certifications in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS, ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor from BSI, and Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
