Tom Swanton

Tom Swanton has worked in various positions in the IT industry since 2005. Tom began their career as an Adjunct Instructor and Director of Systems at Guilford College in 2005. In 2006, they moved to Forsythe as a Storage Architect and Senior Consultant, where they attained expertise and certifications in EMC CLARiiON, VMWare (VCP-2/3), Cisco and Brocade SANs, and Symantec NetBackup. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Quorum as a Regional Sales Manager, SE Manager, and Sales Engineer. In 2016, they took on roles as an Independent Consultant at American Language Academy Greensboro and Solutions Architect at Pivot3. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Principal Solution Architect at HyTrust and a Customer Success Manager and Senior Systems Engineer at Komprise. Tom Swanton is currently employed as a Solutions Architect at Parsec Labs since 2021.

Tom Swanton has a M.S. in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a B.S. in Physics from Appalachian State University.
