Jon Moretta

Jon Moretta is the current President of the Engineered Systems Business Unit at Parsons. Jon has been in this position since December 2016. Prior to that, they were the SVP Sales & Director of Refining and Chemicals at Parsons Corporation from April 2016 to December 2016. From August 2012 to April 2016, they were the EVP Sales & Marketing at International Alliance Group. There, they were responsible for business development and marketing for IAG’s global business in upstream, midstream, downstream, chemicals, and other sectors. Before that, from July 2005 to August 2012, they were the Director at Jacobs Consultancy where they were responsible for strategy, performance and revenue growth for Jacobs Consultancy. Jon also led the Business Development organization. Prior to that, from January 2000 to July 2005, they were the Sales Director at UOP where they managed sales of major consulting service engagements to worldwide refining and petrochemical clients. Jon was also responsible for product development and management as well as leading business unit marketing activities. Before that, from January 1990 to January 2000, they were the Technology Director – Resid Upgrading at KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT, INC. And prior to that, from January 1985 to January 1990, they were an Operations Engineer / Process Engineer at AMOCO OIL COMPANY.

Jon Moretta has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
