David Shadrack Smith is the Founder and Creative Director of Part2 Pictures, a position held since March 2007, where involvement spans every project produced, including major works such as "Belief" with Oprah Winfrey and "This Is Life" with Lisa Ling. Prior experience includes roles as Producer/Director at Partisan Pictures, developing a series for the History Channel, and Producer at National Geographic Television and Film, with notable Emmy-nominated documentaries. Earlier in their career, David worked as a journalist for ZDF's Beijing Bureau and a cameraman for APTN. Educational background includes a BA in Chinese and Film from Wesleyan University.
