Zach Supalla

CEO, Co-founder at Particle

Zach Supalla is the CEO and co-founder of Particle, a company that provides a complete IoT platform to connect, manage, and secure IoT devices. Zach has a background in sales operations and product development, which they gained from their previous work experiences at Groupon and McKinsey & Company. At Groupon, Zach designed a new commission structure for the entire U.S. sales force (600+ sales reps) and implemented the change within four weeks. At McKinsey & Company, Zach led client renegotiation with suppliers for a U.S. household goods manufacturer, saving them $6MM per year. In addition, Zach developed a market research plan to support product redesign worth $2MM in annual cost savings for a large consumer packaged goods company. These skills and experiences have helped Zach build Particle into a successful IoT platform provider.

Zach Supalla graduated with a B.A. in Cognitive Science from Dartmouth College. Zach then went on to earn a Masters of Engineering Management (MEM) in Design and Innovation from Northwestern University. Finally, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
