Ryan Duffin

Ryan Duffin has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ryan started their career in 2013 as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, where they analyzed large sets of astronomical data. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at 5AM Solutions, developing web applications for clients in the medical and scientific fields.

In 2015, Ryan interned with Google as a Software Engineering Intern, where they designed and built internal tools to enhance workflow. Ryan also worked at the UVA Social Neuroscience Lab as a Research Assistant, developing studies for neuroscientific research and collecting data from behavioral and EEG studies.

Ryan joined Palantir Technologies in 2016 as a Forward Deployed Engineer, where they contributed until 2017. Ryan then joined Google as a Software Engineer, working on tasks such as configuring new answer types in Google Search.

Starting in 2020, Ryan worked at Attentive as a Software Engineer, and later as a Senior Software Engineer. Ryan contributed to the company until 2023.

Currently, they are employed at Partiful as a Product Engineer, starting in May 2023.

Throughout their career, Ryan has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, and HTML. Ryan has also demonstrated skills in data analysis, workflow enhancement, and developing studies.

Ryan Duffin attended the University of Virginia from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Their field of study was focused on Computer Science and Cognitive Science.
