Stephen Okuniewski

Stephen Okuniewski has extensive experience in aerospace and defense structures, currently serving as the Manager of Aerospace & Defense Structures at Divergent since July 2018. Previously, Stephen held various positions at Divergent, including Lead Structures Engineer and Senior Vehicle Structures Optimization Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Structural Analyst at Bigelow Aerospace and a Test Engineer Consultant at SpaceX. Stephen began a career at Quartus Engineering, progressing from Engineer II to Project Engineer in Structural Analysis, and also worked as a Structural Analysis Engineer at eServ. Early in the career, Stephen contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan's NSF Engineering Research Center. Stephen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
