In 2020, they were a Data Scientist for Bonza. In 2019, they worked as both a Data Scientist and Associate Data Scientist for DANA Indonesia. In 2017, they worked as a Mine Support and Project Engineer and Drill and Blast Engineer for Macmahon. In 2014, they worked as a Drill and Blast Engineer and Mine Engineer - Dewatering, Drill & Blast for Leighton Contractors Indonesia. In 2013, they worked as a Laboratory & Course Assistant - Mine Planning and Explosives & Blasting Technique at Institut Teknologi Bandung. Finally, in 2012, they participated in an On the Job Training program at Leighton Contractors Indonesia.

Bima Putra Pratama has a comprehensive educational background. Bima Putra obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung between 2009 and 2014. Bima Putra then completed a Study Abroad Programme at UNSW in 2013. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Advanced AI & the Future of Automation at Nexford University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
