Evgeniy Petrenko is currently a DevOps Engineer at Partly. Prior to this, they were a Senior System Engineer at Trade Me from May 2018 to February 2021, where they were responsible for deploying and lifecycle support of in-house k8s cluster, AWS / GCP interconnect through the 3rd party provider deployment and configuration, ongoing support of internal linux services in company, and ongoing support of various gitlab-ci pipelines - deployments to AWS / GCP. Evgeniy was also responsible for PCI/DSS compliance for the services requiring PCI / DSS certification, and F5 BigIP - management and configuration - GSLB, iRules, virtual services and pools, network configuration. Evgeniy has some exposure to networking configuration - bgp / ospf, routing between on-prem network and public cloud deployments.

Before Trade Me, they were Principal System Engineer at Lazada Group from October 2013 to May 2018, where they led a team of 7 people responsible for delivery of broad IT services including servers lifecycle management - provisioning, deploying application stack (using puppet / ansible), VMs provisioning (kvm+libvirt), solving issues raised by developers and other teams, and supporting developers with development environments implementation and maintenance. They used Gitlab CE to deliver most of their changes with built-in CI and everyday worked on incoming queue of tasks using Jira. Evgeniy was also responsible for BAU following Jira workflow and Jira configuration and management - workflows, screens, custom actions.

Evgeniy Petrenko has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics.
