Laura Taylor

Laura Taylor is an experienced professional in editing and proofreading with a diverse background in the publishing industry. Currently serving as a Proofreader at PartnerComm, Inc. since September 2021, Laura previously held roles such as Acquiring Editor at New Degree Press, where responsibilities included restructuring authors' manuscripts and providing feedback. Prior experience includes editing at ZenContent, S&P Capital IQ, and oDesk, along with a position as a Library Technician at Backstage Library Works. Laura also worked as a writer for Demand Media and Writer's Research Group, specializing in food and drink articles, and completed an editorial internship at Gayot Publications. Laura holds an MA in English from the University of York and a BA in English and Film Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
