Andrei Halasz

Andrei Halasz is an accomplished professional in the actuarial field, currently serving as the Head of EMELA Longevity Valuation Production and Infrastructure at PartnerRe since December 2016. With a solid foundation in Applied Mathematics from EPFL, Halasz has extensive experience in developing actuarial tools and models, focusing on disability termination analysis and new business value prediction through complex data analysis. Previous roles include Analyste prestations at Figeas SA and Pricing Actuary at PartnerRe, where a strong emphasis was placed on innovative pricing methodologies and analytics development. Halasz also has experience in academia, having served as a teaching assistant in microengineering and biology at EPFL and Université de Lausanne, respectively.
