Joy B. Guihama Mph

Joy B. Guihama MPH is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as the Director of the Community Wellness Department at Partners in Care Foundation, overseeing community health programs focused on social determinants of health and equity disparities. With a long-standing association with California State University-Northridge, Joy contributes as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Masters in Public Health program, developing curricula and teaching essential skills for future health professionals. As a Public Health Consultant and Grantwriter at JBG Consulting, Joy assists small nonprofits in various capacities including grantwriting and strategic planning. Previous experience includes serving as a Program Officer for the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation where portfolio management and grant oversight were key responsibilities, and managing the Health Promotion, Planning & Policy Division at the Pasadena Public Health Department. Joy holds a Master in Public Health from California State University-Northridge, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California-Los Angeles, and has participated in the California Women's Health Leadership Program.
