Loune Viaud is the Vice Chancellor of UGHE in Haiti & Chief Gender & Social Equity Officer at Partners In Health. Loune has dedicated their career to social justice and improving access to healthcare.

Loune started out as a refugee resettlement employment services manager for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston. In this role, they helped refugees resettle and find employment in the Boston area.

Loune then became the manager for congregational development at Trinity Wall Street Episcopal Church. In this role, they managed a team that provided support and resources to congregations in the New York City area.

In 2008, they joined Partners In Health as the Haiti Program Coordinator. In this role, they oversaw the organization's Haiti program and worked to improve access to healthcare in the country.

Loune later became the Senior Advisor at Partners In Health and then the Training and Orientation Specialist. In these roles, they provided training and support to staff members and helped orient new employees to the organization.

Most recently, they served as a visiting instructor of social ethics at Wake Forest University School of Divinity. In this role, they taught courses on social ethics and helped students develop a better understanding of social justice issues.

Loune Viaud is a dedicated social justice advocate who has spent their career working to improve access to healthcare.
