Mark Brender

Mark Brender is the National Director for Canada at Partners In Health. Mark has over two decades of experience in the non-profit sector, including stints as a senior writer at The Hockey News and as Vice-President of Business Development for Prostate Cancer Canada. Mark has also served as Deputy National Director for Right To Play and as a freelance writer and editor. Throughout their career, Mark has been focused on developing relationships with key stakeholders, increasing awareness for important causes, and generating revenue for non-profit organizations. Mark is a recognized expert in the field of Sport for Development and has been a frequent commentator in print, radio, and television media.

Mark Brender has a Masters in Journalism from Carleton University and a BA in Political Science from McGill University.
