Brad Lang

Brad Lang is the current Chief Strategy Officer at Partners Life. Prior to this, they were the Head of Business Analysis at GLG Partners from March 2008 to July 2011. In this role, they were responsible for performance management, planning, management information and associated systems, investment management team compensation, quarterly/annual US SEC reporting, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and management of the revenue team (3 members), finance systems team (3 members) and 1 Business Analyst. Brad reported to the Head of Finance and liaised with and prepared management information and forecasts for GLG board members and senior management. Brad also liaised with the front office on compensation arrangements and was responsible for the integration with Man Group finance department.

Before joining GLG Partners, Brad Lang was the Finance Manager - Business Analysis at Henderson Global Investors from October 2003 to November 2007. In this role, they were responsible for financial analysis and management reporting for the Henderson UK Equity Income Fund. Brad also managed the production of monthly fund fact sheets and annual reports, as well as being responsible for the review and sign-off of all marketing material relating to the fund.

Brad Lang started their career as a Manager in IT Consulting at BDO New Zealand in February 1999, before moving to Henderson Global Investors in October 2003.

Brad Lang is a Chartered Accountant who has studied at the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA). Brad holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Auckland.

Brad Lang reports to Naomi Ballantyne, Managing Director. They are on a team with Nadine Tereora - Chief Operating Officer, Beckie McCleland - Chief Risk Officer, and Andries Van Graan - Chief of Adviser Distribution.
