Arielle Thomas

Arielle Thomas is an experienced educator with a focus on elementary education, currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Washburn Elementary since August 2023 and as a 1st Grade Teacher at Partnership Academy since August 2018. In these roles, Arielle leads core instruction for English Language Learners, utilizing Responsive Classroom principles to create a safe and engaging learning environment. Previously, Arielle worked at New City Charter School and District of Columbia Public Schools, where performance consistently earned "Highly Effective" ratings and facilitated notable student growth. Arielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from American University and is pursuing a Master of Education in Literacy at the American College of Education. Additionally, Arielle is in the process of obtaining the LETRS, Science of Reading certification.
