Tonya Nelson

Tonya Nelson has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Partnership Academy since August 2015. Prior roles include Elementary School Teacher and 5th Grade Teacher at Arlington Public Schools from August 2018 to June 2021, and Teacher at Korea Poly School from March 2009 to February 2012, focusing on early elementary education and curriculum development. Tonya also gained valuable skills in communications and media through internships at MN Timberwolves & Lynx and SJU Dining Services, as well as through earlier positions at Wells Fargo and President's Club, demonstrating a well-rounded professional background. Tonya holds a Master of Science in Elementary Education from The College of St. Scholastica and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the College of Saint Benedict.
