Zyanya Cazares is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in teaching and coaching mathematics at various educational levels. Currently serving as an Elementary Math Coach at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools since June 2022, Zyanya previously held positions as a Middle School Teacher at Synergy Academies and a 6th Grade Dual Language Teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Earlier roles include teaching 6th grade at The Accelerated Schools and serving as a Student Teacher in a 1st grade Spanish Immersion program with the San Diego Unified School District. Zyanya's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Education in Elementary Education, both from UC San Diego, as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential obtained from the same institution.

Founded in 2007, the Partnership is driven by our mission to transform schools to revolutionize school systems, empowering all students with a high-quality education.
