Alysha Gardner is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Partnership for Strong Communities since May 2023, previously serving as a Budget Analyst at the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management from June 2022 to June 2023, where oversight of state rollout of federal ARPA funds for education and workforce development projects was a key responsibility. Past experience includes a Pro-Bono Consultant role at the National Conference of State Legislatures, focusing on the impact of state voting laws on underserved populations, and serving as a Research Associate at the Center for Global Development, engaged in sustainable development finance and Chinese development policy. Additionally, Alysha worked as a Staff Economist/Fiscal Analyst I at the Utah State Legislature, managing fiscal oversight for multiple state agencies, and has held various roles in consulting and government internships. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Policy with a focus on Public Finance and a Certificate in Budgeting and Public Finance from The George Washington University, as well as a degree from Brigham Young University.
