Partnership for Strong Communities
Samaila Adelaiye, Ph.D., currently serves as a Research and Policy Fellow at the Partnership for Strong Communities since February 2024. Previously, Samaila held a similar role at Connecticut Voices for Children from June 2021 to February 2024. Samaila's academic experience includes positions as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Buffalo and an Adjunct Lecturer at SUNY Geneseo, with earlier roles as an Instructor and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University at Buffalo from 2016 to 2019. Samaila's professional background also includes administrative roles within various organizations, such as a Temporary Administrative Assistant at Aberdeen City Council and a Procurement Administrator at the Scottish Prison Service. Educational credentials comprise a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Political Science from the University at Buffalo, a Master's in Strategic Studies from the University of Aberdeen, and a Bachelor of Science in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University.
