Irene Cruz

Irene Cruz has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Irene started their career as an Executive Administrative Assistant at United Retail Incorporated, providing support to the SVP/CIO and department. Irene then transitioned into the role of HR Coordinator/Generalist, where they provided HR support to approximately 500 stores. During their time at United Retail Incorporated, Irene conducted new hire orientations, managed the Work Opportunity Tax Credit Program, and processed garnishment orders and unemployment claims.

Irene later joined Frutarom USA Inc as a Human Resources Assistant (Internship) and gained hands-on experience in various HR functions. Irene then moved on to Teva Pharmaceuticals, taking on the role of Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter (TEMP). In this position, they provided recruiting for R&D and Manufacturing operations, coordinated new hire processes, and facilitated orientation and safety/cGMP training.

Currently, Irene is working at Party Rental Ltd. Irene has held various roles in the company, including Human Resources Generalist/Talent Acquisition Specialist, Senior Human Resources Supervisor, HR Manager, and currently, they serve as the Human Resources Director.

Irene Cruz, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management at Berkeley College from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their MBA, they earned an Executive MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University between 2011 and 2013. In 2012, they also obtained a Certificate in SHRM/PHR from the same university. Irene's undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Human Resources Management from Berkeley College between 2007 and 2009. Before that, they earned an Associates degree in Business Management from Bergen County Community College, which they attended from 2003 to 2007.
