Anthony Valencia, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and equity analysis. Currently a Partner at East Los Capital since 2018, Valencia focuses on operationally-driven investment strategies in the lower middle market. Simultaneously, Valencia serves as a Board Member for IO Connect Services, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner specializing in cloud technology solutions, and as a Co-managing member of PA Fund 1 with Pasadena Angels, providing venture capital to early-stage companies in Southern California. Prior experience includes a Managing Director role at The TCW Group, where Valencia oversaw equity research and portfolio management, and as an Equity Research Analyst at VDH Investment Management, focusing on various sectors.
