Nicky Sweeney

Nicky Sweeney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both educational and operational roles. Currently serving as the Coordinator at Lake Avenue Counseling Center since July 2024, Nicky collaborates with the Director to enhance client care, support therapists, manage daily operations, oversee billing processes, and facilitate the transition of the counseling center to a non-profit status. Prior to this, Nicky worked as a Business Operations Manager at Arine from August 2021 to September 2022 and has a solid background in education, having held positions as a Math Teacher at Oakwood School and Marlborough School, as well as a Math Department Chair at Animo Inglewood Charter High School. Nicky’s earlier career includes roles such as Development Manager at Green Dot Public Schools and Marketing Manager at Kaplan. Nicky holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University and an undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
