Kirsten Gregory is the General Counsel and Director of Animal Cruelty Response & Prevention at Pasado's Safe Haven. Prior to this, Kirsten worked as a Corporate Counsel at Progressive Insurance for many years, specializing in legal risk management. Kirsten also has experience as a Commercial Litigation Associate at Hartman Simons & Wood LLP and as an Adjunct Instructor of Legal Research and Writing at the University of Nebraska College of Law. Kirsten holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Sustainable International Development from the University of Washington School of Law.

Pasado’s Safe Haven was founded in 1997 in honor of “Pasado“, a beloved donkey who was tortured to death by three teenage boys. Located on 85 acres in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we are a non-profit on a mission to end animal cruelty. In addition to investigating animal cruelty crimes and providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to animals who have suffered from abuse and neglect, we also advocate for better laws to protect animals and work to educate the public about how they can help end animal suffering. Through our uniquely comprehensive programs, we are able to help thousands of animals every year and spread a message of compassion to countless people. Join us.
