Nathaniel Martin

Nathaniel Martin, PE, is a skilled coastal engineer currently leading the development of Pasco County's coastal program, focusing on dredging, seawalls, environmental reuse, and nature-based solutions. With extensive experience, Nathaniel served as a civil/structural engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers, where responsibilities included designing and planning large civil works projects. Previous roles included engineering positions at General Dynamics Electric Boat and a civil engineering internship at Gomez and Sullivan, PC. Nathaniel's academic background features a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution. Nathaniel also contributed to education as a teaching assistant and has a history of hands-on research related to liquefaction risks post-earthquake in Haiti.
