Jim Hand has extensive experience in education and law enforcement. Currently serving as an Adult Education Instructor for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe since January 2013, Jim Hand specializes in teaching reading, writing, and math to adults and at-risk minors seeking their GED diplomas. Prior roles include Security Officer at the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind, Community Service Officer and Math Instructor at Pima Community College, and Police Officer with both the Mammoth Police Department and the Town of Marana. Additionally, Jim Hand was a Vice Principal in the Arizona Department of Corrections, contributing to the education system within state prisons. Jim Hand holds a Police Officer Certification from the Central Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy and advanced degrees in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Arizona and Industrial Arts Education from Glassboro State College.
