Chris Matthews

Chris Matthews has extensive experience in the field of design and technology, primarily focused on the transportation industry. Chris started their career at We Are Base ltd in 2013 as an Interface Designer, where they worked on building digital technology for public transport. In 2015, Chris joined Passenger as a Senior Designer and played a crucial role in developing scalable digital services, including mobile app ticketing, travel information apps, data feeds, websites, and voice technology. Chris was recently promoted to the position of Lead Designer at Passenger, where they are responsible for managing the design process from inception to production. Chris oversees the digital product design, customer experience, and brand development, ensuring that the design team creates the right products and maintains consistent brand principles in every touchpoint.

Chris Matthews attended The Arts University College at Bournemouth from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a National Diploma in Art and Design. From 2007 to 2009, they continued their education at the same institution and earned an FdA Visual Communication degree in Graphic Design. Finally, Chris pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication with a focus on Graphic Design from 2011 to 2012 at Arts University Bournemouth.
