Martinez Thierry

Martinez Thierry is an experienced design professional with a strong background in the sporting goods industry, specializing in protective equipment. Since August 2014, Martinez has served as the Lead Designer for the protective department at Salomon, contributing to strategic decisions and collaborating with marketing and R&D teams. Prior roles at Salomon included Designer positions in the active protective department, alpine gears and boots department, and alpine ski and binding department, where responsibilities encompassed product and graphic design, trend analysis, and consumer needs integration. Martinez's design expertise is further supported by a solid foundation in industrial design education, including a D.S.A.A in Industrial Design and Furniture from École Boulle and a BTS in Industrial Design from Lycée Léonard de Vinci. Teaching experience at Ecole de Condé Lyon and Ecole Bellecour highlights a commitment to fostering design talent.
