Alex Branton

Alex Branton is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the visual effects and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Full Stack Lead at Passio AI since May 2021, Alex previously held roles at ScanlineVFX from August 2014 to May 2021, including Senior Back End Engineer and 2D Development Supervisor. Earlier experience includes positions as a Professor at Seneca College, Compositor and Visual Effects Coordinator at Mr. X Inc., and Jr. Compositor/Layout Artist at SPIN VFX. Alex's career began with a strong educational foundation at Seneca Polytechnic, earning a VFX Post-Grad Certificate with honors in 2011.
