James Kelly

James Kelly has a diverse work experience with various companies. James started their career as a Mathematical Consultant at Cable-Sense in 2012. From there, they worked as a Software Engineer at Icomera AB, developing firmware for wireless routers. In 2014, they joined Forsberg Services Ltd. as a Software Engineer and was later promoted to Lead Software Engineer. At Forsberg, they worked on developing precision navigation systems and post-processing applications. In 2017, they worked as a Web Developer at Wolfram before joining Passio Inc. as the Vice President of Research, AI, and Computer Vision. At Passio, they are responsible for architecting, implementing, and training neural networks and other machine learning products. James has also led projects such as Nutrition AI, which is installed on millions of phones worldwide. Additionally, James Kelly has also been the Managing Director of IJK Technology Ltd.

James Kelly attended Morecambe High School from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Mathematics, Electronics, and Physics for their A Levels. Following their time at Morecambe High School, they enrolled in the University of Central Lancashire from 2005 to 2009, and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2012, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics at the same institution.
