Jesse Langford

Jesse Langford is currently the Head of Applications & Integrations at PassKit. Prior to this, Jesse was an Apprentice Full-Stack Web Developer at Launch Academy, Inc from March 2016 to August 2016. At Launch Academy, Jesse gained the skills to create and manage full-stack web development technologies and languages such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, GitHub, Javascript, React, PostgreSQL, Object-Oriented Programming, Pair Programming, and Test-Driven Development.

During Jesse's time at Launch Academy, they worked on two projects: Swing Helper and Festivaluations. Swing Helper is a croudsourced golf instruction app that alows it's users to upload videos and recieve feedback on what they can do to improve their game. The app uses Psql for local data storage and Amazon Web Services S3 clud storage for user profile pictures. Integrated Devise for user authentication and full CRUD functionality was achieved through Ruby on Rails. Video uploading was done using JavaScript and styling was done with a combination of foundation and custom CSS.

Festivaluations is a group project music festival review site that allows users to create a music festival, write a review, and also add reviews to existing festivals. Jesse paired-programmed with three other teammates and used the git workflow to manage code branches. The project was built using Ruby on Rails, and React. Ajax functionality was incorporated to make calls to internal API for form submissions and page content. The

Jesse Langford has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Methodist University. Jesse also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; PGA Golf Management from Methodist University, Reeves School of Business.
