Juan-Carlos Salazar Ortiz is an accomplished freelance multimedia makeup artist with a career spanning nearly two decades. As the owner of Juancarlosmakeup since July 2004, Juan-Carlos has showcased expertise in fashion, live shows, television and film, as well as print and web media. Currently represented at the "Touch" beauty division of Dominique Models in Brussels since February 2019, Juan-Carlos has also collaborated with Pat McGrath Cosmetics during major international fashion events across cities like New York, London, Milan, Paris, and Seoul. Additional experience includes serving as a freelance makeup artist for the Salzburger Festspiele and Parfums Christian Dior, where participation in prestigious fashion weeks was a key highlight. Previously, Juan-Carlos held senior leadership roles at the Make Up For Ever Academy in both New York and Brussels, where responsibilities included curriculum development and program launch. Educational credentials include training at the Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles and the Make Up For Ever Academy in Paris, culminating in a Master Makeup Artist degree.
