Aileen Ottenweller

Global Marketing Manager of Sportswear at Patagonia

Aileen Ottenweller is the Global Marketing Manager of Sportswear at Patagonia. Aileen has over eight years of experience in marketing, product marketing, and brand management.

Aileen began their career as an intern at People Against Suffering Oppression and Poverty (PASSOP) in 2010. Aileen then worked as an Analyst at Adayana Management Consulting Group from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they transitioned to coordinator and then associate at Initiative for Global Development. From 2014 to 2015, Aileen worked as the Brand Marketing & Community Lead at Gatheredtable. In 2015, they joined SolarCity as an Associate Marketing Manager and was promoted to Marketing Manager the following year.

In 2017, Aileen left SolarCity to join Tesla as a Manager, Product Marketing and Programs. Aileen held this position until 2019 when they joined Patagonia.

Aileen Ottenweller has a BA in International Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, where they were in the Honors Program for Global Integration and Development and Business Management. Aileen also has an Economics degree from the University of Cape Town.

Aileen Ottenweller works with Laura Kinman - Global Product Line Director of Women's Sportswear, Mark Little - Product Line Director of Men's Sportswear and Surf Apparel. Their manager is Helena Barbour, VP, Sportswear.
